The Opportunity:

The Territory Manager is responsible for:

·      Identifying and developing new opportunities via face-to-face meetings, phone calls and emails.

·      Generating and advancing leads by “knocking” on the door of potential customers.

·      Spending three – four days out in the field.

·      Working across all channels and platforms.

·      Comfortable with a sales cycle that could be short, or up to a year. Must have the ability to establish strong relationships with potential customers.

·      Maintain an accurate pipeline and notes in Salesforce.

·      Achieve quarterly and annual production and performance targets.

·      Monitor the market and competitors’ services, prices and sales.

Here’s what you should bring:

·      At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in a business-to-business sales role.

·      Demonstrated ability to thrive in a goal-oriented and quota-driven environment.

·      Personal initiative to consistently take necessary actions to succeed through the entire sales process, from cold calling to closing deals.

·      Maximize all of the multiple internal resources available – people, technology, training, etc.

·      The ability to build authentic and long-lasting customer relationships

·      Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce and very tech savvy.

·      Ability to travel on occasion.

These are a plus:

·      Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field

·      Worked in an industry where the sales cycle ranges from 3 months to 6-9 months

·      Knowledge of capital equipment in one or more of these industries: Construction, Agriculture, Oil and Gas or Transportation
