One of our clients is seeking a Senior Business Development & Contracts Manager (B2B) to join their team. This role is responsible for building relationships with key people in other organizations, then cultivate that relationship to the point where they can negotiate a complex contract between the company and the entity. They will then oversee execution of the contract and further maintain the relationship. This is a role with broad latitude to negotiate in the field and represent the company. The right candidate will be experienced in building relationships, negotiating contracts and have the confidence and presence to make high level decisions.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead negotiations, manage complex requirements and determine best course of action in case of unusual contract terms/contracting issues
  • Analyze and respond to complex inquiries concerning contract obligations and develop effective work- around strategies as necessary.
  • Build and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with clients
  • Additional Responsibilities as assigned by the manager


Qualifications:


  • Ability to influence negotiation strategy and lead negotiations
  • Strong understanding of contractual terms, legal, regulatory and compliance concepts
  • Ability to exercise appropriate independent judgment
  • Extensive Traveling
  • Intricate knowledge for contract negotiations
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a contracts role.
