Director Of Brand Partnerships - Digital First Publisher

One of our clients is looking for a Director of Brand Partnerships to join their team. This role reports to the Vice President of Partnerships. The right person will drive towards an individual revenue goal and be responsible for an individual client list. They will also be given the opportunity to build and manage their own business at a national level, overseeing all campaign executions with the support of internal teams including Strategy Development, Account Management, Production, and Media Planning. The right person has tenured relationships across the media landscape. This person will need to be a dynamic individual with a passion for generating new business, a proven track record of hitting sales goals while proactively developing client and agency relationships.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage an account list inclusive of new business prospects and returning partners to generate revenue.
  • Engage in daily client outreach, strategize and pitch creative solutions pertaining to all client meetings, RFPs, proactive opportunities, and on-going conversation to manage and build your deal pipeline.
  • Collaborate with internal teams – marketing, production, account management, insights, programming, and media planning throughout all phases of the sales process (pre, during, post).
  • Create and maintain client databases.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 3-5 years of successful digital advertising experience.
  • Passion for sales, digital media, and branded content.
  • Strong interest in entertainment culture, and internet culture.
  • Enjoy the creative process.
  • Organized, proactive and results-oriented.
  • Driven to take initiative in a highly experimental, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into concrete decisions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors and articulate selling points of products.
  • Familiarity with internet culture and best practices for sales to that demographic is a plus, or, an interest in and inclination to learn.

Experience:


  • Minimum 3-5 years of successful digital advertising experience.
  • Experience identifying, building, and retaining appropriate sales pipelines and partnerships.
  • Strong business acumen, contract negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
