REMOTE / 6 month contract with likely extension


Marketing/Media Agency data or specific retailer shopper insights/marketing data experience required


Our client is looking for a talented Sr. Project Manager Lead who will be responsible for leading projects in the D&A and marketing domains. This position involves providing strategy, planning, guidance and oversight of technical implementations.

Job Duties

  • Accountable for defining, planning, orchestrating, and delivering one or more given strategic initiatives including business, operational, and information technology deliverables
  • Ensures end results are of the highest caliber with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefit
  • Directs large-scale, complex projects often involving multiple internal and external constituents and partners
  • Directly manages all aspects of the project life cycle and oversees all phases of a project
  • Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters
  • Validates financial forecasts, cost assumptions, and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures
  • Defines and tracks Hybrid development milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
  • Communicates project status across delivery teams, stakeholders and executive leadership


Job Requirements

  • 5+ years managing technical projects
  • Excellent communication (oral and written)
  • Experience managing both Waterfall and Hybrid projects
  • Experience with MS Project
  • Proven ability to quickly build relationships and earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders and navigate the organization effectively
  • Mobilize and motivate teams, set direction and approach, resolve conflict
  • Able to make tough decisions and deliver tough messages with grace
  • Able to execute with limited information and ambiguity
  • Able to uncover risks and issues, able to see linkages and dependencies across projects
  • Sound business and technical acumen
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally
  • Dynamic, capable of juggling several critical priorities at once
  • Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure
  • Demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering complex projects
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Assertive and hands-on professional who thrives in a fast paced, change rich environment
  • Strong SDLC/PMLC understanding and hands-on experience
  • Marketing/Media Agency data (Nielsen, IRI, or specific retailer shopper insights/marketing data)
