Cyber Security Engineer

Our client, a leading player in the automotive technology sector, is enhancing its cybersecurity capabilities within its engineering teams. As part of this initiative, we are seeking a talented Automotive Cybersecurity TARA Engineer to join our innovative team.

As an Automotive Cybersecurity TARA Engineer, you will be crucial in fortifying our automotive systems against potential threats and ensuring compliance with ISO/SAE 21434 standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Job Duties:

As a Cybersecurity TARA System Engineer in the Automotive industry, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARA) specific to Automotive systems.
  • Developing and maintaining ISO/SAE 21434 compliant threat models.
  • Reviewing and analyzing System Requirements and Architecture within the Automotive context.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address Cybersecurity concerns.
  • Ensuring compliance with Cybersecurity standards and regulations in Automotive system development.


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive System Engineering with demonstrable Cybersecurity expertise.
  • Experience with Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARA) in the Automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity principles and standards.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining ISO/SAE 21434-compliant threat models.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.


Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Familiarity with Automotive Cybersecurity trends and standards.
  • Experience with Automotive SPICE processes.
