Our client is seeking an experienced Embedded Project Engineer to join their team! Looking for an experienced and driven Embedded Project Engineer to lead multiple complex projects in the automotive accessories industry. This is an opportunity to take your prior training and experience in product/ software development into a product lead role.

Job Summary

We are seeking candidates with prior product and software development leadership experience to:

• Lead multiple complex projects
• Participate in software and hardware technical reviews
• Develop and manage the completion of customer documentation for software deliverables
• Have prior experience in complex engineering product and electrical, mechanical, and software development
• Ensure customer and internal project requirements are documented, planned, implemented, and tested
• Responsible for communication and escalation of key issues affecting: cost, quality, timing, resources, risk, technical trade-offs, etc. to management
• Meet key internal and customer milestone dates
• Have a high level of organization skills and attention to detail
• Skills in communication, project scheduling, and management of software
• Experience with mature product/ software development processes
• Lead software project team meetings (Scrums and Release Planning)
• Experienced with blending Agile and Waterfall Program Management

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a embedded engineering environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple complex projects
• Skills in communication, project scheduling, and management of software and complex products
• Automotive Industry experience
• PMP and/or Scrum Certification
• Experienced with blending Agile and Waterfall Program Management
