WTR Search is seeking a GE LOTO Blade Technician for a global leader in the wind industry. This is a full-time, permanent position with a dynamic and team-oriented organization. The role comes with attractive compensation, benefits, and room for growth.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate leadership with the team and mentor other technicians with proper composite blade repairs, up to Category 5 complex or specialty repairs
• Travel 100% throughout the US and Canada to perform expert composite blade repair uptower via platforms, occasionally on the ground, and potentially rope access
• Perform Epoxy and Polyester resin wet lay-up, vacuum infusion, balsa and foam sandwich materials, and perform structural repair of blades
• Complete detailed Daily Progress Reporting Documents and QA/QC reports, adhering to Quality Checkpoints
• Assist site lead and project coordinator

Summary of Requirements:

• MUST be GE LOTO Certified
• 2+ years of high-quality Composite repair experience
• Experience safely and properly using and setting up 360-degree and 2M basket platforms
• Understanding of Epoxy and Polyester resins, wet lay-up, and vacuum bag techniques
• Understanding how to handle balsa and foam core materials
• Knowledge of fiberglass reinforcement and structural repair
• Accurate knowledge of repair specifications (i.e. wind speeds, temperature, and humidity restrictions)
• Ability to read complex technical drawings and processes
• Valid, current driver's license, good MVR report, satisfactory criminal background check, and Drug-Free
• Valid passport a plus, US / Canadian citizens or legal to work in either country are eligible for the opportunity
