WTR Search is seeking a Level 3 or 4 Borescoping Wind Technician for a global leader in the wind industry. This is a full-time, permanent position with a dynamic and team-oriented organization. The role comes with attractive compensation, benefits, and room for growth.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Travel to and work at wind farms in Alberta CAN, Texas US, or Midwest US
• May be authorized to perform specific borescoping tasks independently
• Borescoping of gearboxes and main bearings
• Maintain, safeguard, and inspect borescoping equipment
• Work safely, competently, and productively under the direction of others
• Keep records, maintain documentation, and report technical and safety issues

Summary of Requirements:

• Must have 2+ years of successful experience performing borescope inspection 
• Must have experience with hand cameras/borescope tools
• Must have experience with single, double, and/or triple planetary gearbox
• Must have basic knowledge of bearing/gear damage nomenclature
• Valid, current driver's license, good MVR report, satisfactory criminal background check, and Drug-Free
• Valid passport a plus, US / Canadian citizens or legal to work in either country are eligible for the opportunity
• The following certifications or will train:
• GWO BST (Basic Safety Training) - fire awareness, working at heights, manual handling, first aid
• GWO BTT (Basic Technical Training) - electrical, hydraulic, mechanical
• OSHA 10 General Industry
• Applicable Siemens Gamesa Technical Training (SGTT)
• Crane, Chain Hoist, and Rigging Safety Training
• NFPA 70E Arc-Flash Awareness
• Prefer training or experience with Touchscreen Controller Hand Terminals
