WTR Search is seeking a Level 3 Composite Blade Repair Technician. This is a full-time, permanent position with a dynamic and team-oriented organization. The role comes with generous compensation, a guaranteed 40 hours year-round, and growth opportunities.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate leadership with the team and mentor other technicians with complex and specialty composite blade repairs
• Execute composite repairs to manufacturer standards utilizing vacuum-assisted wet laminations from findings that include severe delamination, core repairs, erosion repairs, and other structural/cosmetic findings
• Perform Epoxy and Polyester resin wet lay-up, vacuum infusion, and perform structural blade repairs
• Inspect and document internal and external findings from a variety of manufacturers
• Execute all contractual obligations and activities outlined by the composite manager
• Understand/perform LOTO to maintain safe working environments per job requirements
• Document and maintain required information including inspection reports, JSAs, and foreman reports
• Apply/install various LEP systems
• Produce inventory reports of materials
• All other duties as assigned by the composite manager

Summary of Requirements:

• 3+ years of high-quality experience performing all types of composite blade repairs
• Must have Siemens Blade D certification and ability to produce a copy
• Expertise with using chemicals including bonding pastes, epoxy resins, structural adhesives, profile fillers, and topcoat
• Understanding of LEP systems and application methods
• Understanding and execution of chamfering/scarfing methods
• Experience to safely and properly use and set up 360-degree and 2M basket platforms
• Proven knowledge of fiberglass reinforcement and structural repair
• Accurate knowledge of repair specifications (i.e. wind speeds, temperature, and humidity restrictions)
• Ability to read complex technical drawings and processes
• Current driver's license with a satisfactory MVR report, satisfactory criminal background, and ability to pass a drug screen
