The Corrosion Evaluation Technician is responsible for the evaluation of corrosion test vehicles and to provide assistance in other aspects of corrosion testing.


Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to perform all essential job functions of an Entry Level Evaluation Technician.

• Performs Initial Inspections to create a baseline for test vehicles

• Performs Water Intrusion test on test vehicles

• Conduct a vehicle-chipping test on test vehicles

• Performs inspections of test vehicles at predetermined inspection intervals.

• Performs outer body inspections and Cavity Photo Documentation on test vehicles.

• Completes related computer tasks using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Corel Aftershot.

• Utilizes photography skills to provide 4 to 6 photos per subject area.

• Assists in the creation of reports and documents for customers.

• Performs additional duties as required or requested

Job Requirements:


Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or equivalent, preferred.


MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Corel Aftershot required. Experience with digital photography. Good verbal and written communication and organizational skills are a priority. Flexibility to perform numerous tasks as required. Ability to apply logical thinking and decision making based on established guidelines and procedures. Basic knowledge of vehicle engine, chassis part, and vehicle body part descriptions.


Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Job requires standing, and bending for approximately 6-8 hours on a daily basis. Must be available to work overtime and odd hours including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Ability to pass Drug Screen and Physical. Must have a valid driver’s license and able to pass a driver assessment test.
