Job Location:
Englewood, CO (near Centennial Airport). This role is an on site
position.
Compensation / Benefits:
Compensation is negotiable (depending on experience). Hours worked over
40 will be straight time. This role includes a comprehensive benefits

Overview:
HRU Technical Resources has partnered with an automated machine /
tooling manufacturer working in the medical device, pharmaceutical,
electrical / industrial, automotive and consumer goods applications
sectors. We are seeking a Vision Engineer (level 2) for our facility in
Englewood, CO. As a Vision Engineer you are responsible for vision
engineering of equipment during the design, assemble, and debug phases
of various projects. A Vision Engineer will generate quotes based on
customer URS ("User Requirement Specifications”). In addition, you will
review customer URS to isolate all vision requirements and properly
utilize and demonstrate proficiency with the vision test bench. You
will be responsible in finding the most effective configurations for
checks using innovative approaches, and will also help review vision
quotes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Support Mechanical Engineers during the design
process
• Generate the electrical discussion document
• Support the design of the Software Design
Specification with the Controls Engineering department
• Conduct RP3 (Requirements, Planning, and
Prototyping) with customers independently
• Perform setup, debug and fine tuning of vision
systems
• Support mechanical Engineers & Mechanical
technicians for debug modification on the production floor
• Validation support on the floor (on demand)
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
• 5 years of experience in industrial vision
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge in vision 3D
hardware and software, 2D vision understanding and optical theory
• Bachelor of Science degree, or 7 years of relevant
working experience with clear aptitude in core skills and competencies
• Successfully achieved Vision Engineering Level 1
expectations
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
Work Environment:
• This role is a 1st (day) shift position. Generally
you’ll work 40 hours per week, but additional time may be needed as
required by projects.
• Candidates will be paid extra when working over 40
hours (straight time).
• This position will require candidates to pass a
background check and drug screen. This drug screen will involve testing
for cannabis.
