Contract: 6 Month Contract (Extension likely OR direct hire) 


Schedule: Second Shift (Monday-Thursday 4PM-2:30AM)


Compensation: $20-$22/HR

Description: The Vehicle Technician role revolves around maintaining, repairing, and enhancing various types of vehicles. You will be responsible for conducting advanced diagnostic analysis, demonstrating proficiency in electrical and mechanical tasks, and assembling vehicle components with precision. Your problem-solving skills and innovative approach will be crucial in addressing complex issues that may arise during vehicle maintenance and repair. To excel in this position, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in related tasks. Additionally, a technical degree may be required to ensure you have the necessary knowledge and expertise. Working effectively without direct supervision, you will play a vital role in meeting defined schedules and implementing improvements to enhance vehicle performance and functionality. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced diagnostic analysis of products using schematics, diagrams, and system knowledge
  • Demonstrate strong electrical and/or mechanical aptitude
  • Utilize extensive experience with vehicle mechanics and/or electrical systems
  • Work with various vehicles such as autos, trucks, military vehicles, or boats
  • Conceptualize and prototype electrical and/or mechanical devices including armor, switch panels, wire harnesses, suspensions, or lights
  • Employ above-average problem-solving skills and innovation in tasks
  • Assemble products to meet defined schedules
  • Monitor needs and metrics of assigned areas, recommending and implementing improvements
  • Train and lead fewer senior staff in daily activities, taking on a lead role in training entry-level staff
  • Monitor schedules and conduct tasks to maintain schedules


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years strong experience in conducting related electrical/mechanical assembly tasks
  • Exercises moderated independent judgment with direction from supervisor
  • Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Team player and detail-oriented
