HRU Technical Resources is seeking a dynamic Maintenance Group Leader to drive automotive innovation in Buffalo, NY!

Contract: 12-month contract (Option to be extended OR direct hire)  

Schedule: 2nd or 3rd Shift (On site)

Compensation: $46.00-$49.00/HR

As a Group Leader, you'll oversee a team of skilled professionals, guiding them in troubleshooting and repairing intricate equipment and processes. Your role will extend beyond technical expertise; you'll also ensure adherence to the National and Local Agreement between the company and the United Auto Workers Union, upholding our commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints
• Ability to coordinate, manage and lead people
• Interpersonal and relationship management skills to effectively collaborate with varying levels of the organization
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to ask questions, take initiative and be resourceful
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity, ability to deal with ambiguity, self-directed
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering and Manufacturing Teams

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 4-5 years’ experience in industrial/mechanical engineering background OR manufacturing
• Ability to read, write, and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints
