Materials Coordinator

Pack, seal and affix labels to prepare material for storage within the warehouse.

Assure that all products packaged by the department are of the highest quality; keeping good material good.

Be able to identify and properly annotate serial numbers.

Be able to count high volume of material such as nuts, bolts, washers.

Properly identify location markers to verify proper location of material.

Perform routine counts of warehouse locations and properly annotate quantities on count sheets.

Operate forklift equipment as needed.

Responsible for maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.

Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, while keeping correct data.

Working knowledge of supply and supply management.

Ability to learn GDLS processes, products and military technology.

Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks.

Ability to learn and operate forklift equipment as needed.

Ability to effectively communicate (both verbally & written) and interact with internal & external customers clients.

High school diploma or equivalent.

1-3 years related work experience.

Must be a US citizen.

Must be able to gain and maintain access to all military installations in which the work is performed.
