Hardware Display Project Lead Engineer


Description

  • Electrical project lead for display products.
  • Support concept to production H/W including requirements analysis, electronic design, debug, test, and qualification.
  • Lead design, development, and test Electronic H/W products, components, and subsystems.
  • Develop requirements, test plans, RFP and RFIs.
  • Support component selection, procurement, and oversight of prototype hardware build.
  • Support concurrent engineering reviews and trade studies.
  • Develop engineering design fixes, and coordinate solutions.
  • Perform technology research, feasibility assessments.
  • Develop concepts to support advanced technology initiatives, IRADS, proposals, and demonstrators.
  • Strong record keeping skills with commitment to tracking design changes, debug status, H/W and S/W revisions.
  • Overall Project leadership skills.


Position Requirements:  


·         Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 10 years plus of applicable experience. Fewer years will be considered with an advanced degree.   

Experience with analog and digital circuit design, including PCB design.  

·         Experience with single board computers and microcontrollers.  

·         Experience with display technologies and video distribution techniques preferred.  

·         Experience with graphics/video interfaces (DVI, HDMI, RS-170, SDI etc.)  

·         Ability to use engineering development and test tools.  

·         Familiarity with military standards and test requirements desired.  

·         EMI/EMC design practices and standards.  

·         Familiarity with industry interface standards and form factors (VITA42/46, COM Express, ETX, etc ...)  

·         Capable of obtaining a security clearance (if required).  

·         Occasional overtime, and weekend hours may be required to complete critical tasks.  

·         Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.  

·         Teamcenter knowledge, Evcore, peer reviews, SWOTS and other GD tools.   

·         Strong multi-tasking skills.  

·         Ability to lead projects.  

·         This is not a remote work position. Candidate is expected to be on site.
