Job Advertisement: Reliability/Maintainability Engineer

Purpose:

Influence system design to optimize mission capability and availability throughout its life cycle. Our R&M engineering team identifies and mitigates risks early, ensuring efficient acquisition and successful operational testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Engineers to provide R&M findings and recommendations.
  • Develop plans and procedures for RMA demonstration tests.
  • Lead the creation of Reliability Program Plans.
  • Assist in Design Reviews to address reliability concerns.
  • Utilize Reliability tools for mathematical modeling and predictions.
  • Conduct Supportability Analysis, FMECA, and LORA.
  • Engage with external customers and vendors.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Reliability, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in DOD RMA, RCM, and ILS support.
  • Strong knowledge of Reliability Engineering principles.
  • Experience with Reliability tools like Relex/Reliasoft.

  • Ensure inclusion in the Test and Evaluation Master Plan.
  • Plan system reliability growth.
  • Utilize R&M data for life-cycle support planning.
  • Identify and track R&M risks and Technical Performance Measures.
