Title: Production Supervisor

Contract: 12 months with potential for extension or direct hire

Location: Bedford, Indiana

Schedule: Monday-Friday (2:30 pm – 11:30 pm) or (10:30 pm – 7:30 am) | Mandatory OT/rotating weekends

Compensation: $35/hour - $38/hour with paid time off and benefits

Onboarding Requirements: Background check/drug screen/employment verification

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily operations in our high-energy aluminum die cast facility
• Drive safety initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement projects
• Prepare detailed end-of-shift reports and maintain Excel spreadsheets
• Tackle the challenge of overseeing 21 machines and collaborating with the UAW
• Utilize your Microsoft Excel proficiency and manufacturing expertise to excel in the role

What You'll Do:

• Inspire and motivate our production team to achieve their best
• Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges, ensuring efficiency and quality
• Implement production tracking and quality control systems to drive performance
• Lead hiring, training, and evaluation processes to build a strong team
• Maintain accurate production reports and personnel records

Desired Skills:

• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving abilities
• Independence and effective time management skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and materials management
• Familiarity with machine operations, maintenance, and repair techniques
• Experience with technical plans, blueprints, and design principles is a plus

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in business or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field
• Leadership or supervisory experience is highly valued
• Technical expertise or organizational leadership skills are a bonus
