Program Protection Platform Engineer (C5ISR)

About the Role: Join our dynamic team as a Protection Platform Engineer in our Defense Sector! You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the security and protection of cutting-edge defense acquisition programs across the US market. Collaborating closely with our Cyber, Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) and Autonomy group, you'll apply your expertise in system security engineering to safeguard our nation's critical assets. This position offers a hybrid/on-site work model with exciting challenges and opportunities for growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of system security engineering and program protection for major defense acquisition programs.
  • Collaborate with program offices to develop Program Protection Implementation Plans (PPIP) and guide customers through the process.
  • Assess program security risks and devise effective risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with Integrated Product Teams (IPT).
  • Analyze critical program information and components to ensure protection of state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to integrate technical scope and ensure compliance with C5ISR design standards.
  • Manage the development and implementation of cyber-physical design best practices, fostering a culture of cybersecurity within the organization.
  • Coordinate requirements, architectures, and system designs, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Lead design troubleshooting and problem resolution activities for production, development, and modification projects.
  • Participate in peer reviews and provide technical expertise across various engineering disciplines.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field (Relevant cyber technical certificates considered).
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering and/or military projects.
  • Experience with military vehicle development, embedded systems, and cyber warfare.
  • Strong understanding of system-level requirements development and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.



Additional Information:

  • US security clearance required (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible).
  • Physical ability to work around military vehicles and pass ASR test.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Comfortable working in diverse environments including prototype shops, laboratories, manufacturing, and offices.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required and drive continuous improvement processes.
