Building Automation Commissioning Agent

We are seeking a Commissioning Agent to join a construction/building services firm, headquartered in the northern Virginia area. We are seeking a professional who has a mechanical commissioning background to support multiple projects in the area. This is a high visibility job where you will have the opportunity to expand your skill set and learn from other commissioning professionals. What we are looking for:
3 - 5 years experience commissioning experience with a third party provider (performing functional performance tests, design reviews, and completion of commissioning reports)
AND/OR 3-5 years of technical/engineering experience in the building automation industry (i.e. programming, design, creating graphics, etc.)
Expertise within a controls system (Honeywell, Alerton, Distech, Johnson Controls, Siemens, etc.)
Technical knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, AHU’s, VAV’s, boilers, chillers etc.
Motivated team player with customer focused attitude.
Computer skills including MS Office, Windows, File Structure, AutoCAD, VISIO, and basic TCP/IP network structure and web navigation
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field or equivalent work experience
Desire to work towards additional certifications like Professional Engineer (PE) such as Certified Commissioning Provider (CCP) from the Building Commissioning Association (BCA), Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) from the AABC Commissioning Group (ACG) - you will be supported here!
