Project Engineer/Programmer - Commercial/Hi-Rise/Data Center

This is an opportunity to join a premier building automation company located in Rochester, NY. We are seeking a BAS Engineer to support complex commercial/industrial projects. This is an established company in the area who are experts in their space.

What we are looking for:
3-5+ years of technical experience within the HVAC Controls/BAS Industry (particularly within software to develop BMS databases, programming logic, and graphics
Well rounded system experience and field experience with large, technically complex facilities; experience with a building automation system such as Automated Logic, Johnson Controls, Alerton, or similar highly valued
Technical knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment (AHU’s, VAV’s, boilers, chillers etc.) and DDC Control theory
Familiarity with the project life cycle in the mechanical contracting space
BACnet, MODbus and/or Lonworks experience
Polished professional – someone that loves the technology and works to hone their craft.
Motivated team player with customer focused attitude.
Strong IoT and computer technology skills including Networking, Database, Security, and Microsoft platform experience.
Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience. Looking for a well-trained specialist.
