We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Industrial Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and reducing waste. You will spend 50% of your time on the shop floor and 50% with engineering teams, collaborating to develop and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement standard work instructions to ensure consistent and efficient production processes
• Create process flow diagrams to visualize and analyze production workflows
• Design and implement controls plans to ensure quality and reduce variability
• Revise bills of material to optimize inventory management and reduce waste
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement process improvements
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement
• Communicate effectively with production staff, engineering teams, and management to ensure successful implementation of process improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with CAD software and process simulation tools
• Certification in Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma (White Belt, Yellow Belt, or Green Belt)

This is a long term contract opportunity (12+ months) that is based on site in Los Angeles. Compensation is $30-$45/hour.
