IT Project Manager - Software Quality (Contract to Hire)

Responsible for planning, executing, and delivering software quality for major technology projects, including testing strategy, planning, and execution. Oversees testing activities, ensures compliance with policies and regulations, and reviews test documentation. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, provides feedback to developers, and ensures product quality before release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute testing plans and strategies
  • Lead testing activities, including planning, execution, and documentation
  • Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and IT teams
  • Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations
  • Review and improve test documentation
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to developers
  • Ensure product quality before release
  • Create tracking metrics and reports

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management with a focus on software quality and testing
  • Strong technical background and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with project management software and tools
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, or similar certification highly desirable
  • Strong project management skills with a prior successful record of delivering large programs/projects.
