Senior Electrical Test Engineer - Contract

Job Purpose:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test equipment (ATE) for medical devices, including hearing devices and hearing systems. This role will also support existing test systems and processes including change notifications and corrective actions. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and specify Automated Test Equipment  (ATE)  hardware and software
• Develop and document test plans, procedures, and requirements
• Innovate and improve test processes and productivity
• Procure new equipment and technology
• Investigate and interpret technology trends
• Provide technical support for vendors and troubleshooting
• Address ATE issues throughout the product lifecycle

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Masters preferred
• 5+ years of experience in electrical test systems for Class III medical devices
• Strong technical and project management skills
• Proven skills in digital and analog hardware design
• Experience with embedded hardware and software for medical devices
• Proficient in LabView, analog and digital electronics, and software development
