Executive Administrative Assistant to SVP R&D - Contract to Hire


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our Client's Senior Vice President of Research & Development (R&D) and manage administrative operations for the R&D function. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, facilitate communication, and ensure seamless day-to-day operations at both executive and departmental levels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to executives and senior leaders, handling confidential matters with discretion
  • Manage complex calendars, travel logistics, and meeting coordination
  • Facilitate effective communication, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and maintaining confidentiality
  • Oversee departmental purchases, expense categorization, and financial record-keeping
  • Support HR-adjacent tasks, performance tracking, and training initiatives
  • Plan and execute team-building events and celebratory activities
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned


Travel Requirement:

  • Occasional travel (approximately 3 times per year) for off-site events


Qualifications:

Required

  • 4+ years of experience as an Executive Administrative Assistant
  • Proactive and positive attitude, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint

Nice to Have

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Administrative Professional)
  • Further education or relevant training

This is a Contract to Hire opportunity with an hourly pay of $25-30/hour. This role is onsite 100% of the time for the first 90 days for onboarding, then transitions to a hybrid role (2-3 days/week in office)
