About the Position:


In this role, you’ll to bring sustainable packaging solutions to market. You'll identify and develop new customer relationships nationwide. You’ll help customers transform their supply chains with proven technology that delivers zero waste outcomes.


Previous packaging sales experience is required. Experience selling plastics and/or containers is preferred.


About You:


This role may be for you, if you:

-      Are passionate about serving manufacturers, distributors, and warehouse owners throughout the consumer goods supply chain.

-      Enjoy defining new markets and mapping out your sales strategy

-      Enjoy reaching and exceeding goals in the context of short and long sales cycles

-      Bring a consultative sales approach that develops effective solutions for your customers


You are skillful:

-      Communicating with various levels and build senior level relationships

-      Prospecting and cold calling to develop new customer relationships

-      Managing your time with discipline to deliver quality for your customers


Your customers:

-      Remember you because you follow through on commitments

-      Trust the accuracy of your quotations

-      Appreciate the way you help them build their business cases


You’re looking to:

-      Collaborate as part of a team to promote learning, growth, and profitability

-      In a position that requires 60-80% travel from a home office base and

-      You are willing to travel nationally throughout the US.


Qualifications:


Best-qualified candidates bring some or all of the following experience and capabilities:


·     Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

·     5 years of professional experience in sales (field service, business development) with industrial customers, preferably in the logistics or packaging industry

·     3-5 years New Business Development experience with demonstrated ability to consistently generate revenue and exceed quota by managing process for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business as well as servicing and growing the existing customer base

·     Experience in plastic returnable rigid bulk packaging is a plus

·     Familiarity with the specifics and dynamics of different supply chains

·     Experience in automated integrated supply chains is a plus

·     Experience working with CRM systems

·     Very good knowledge of common MS Office applications

·     Capable of developing Power Point Presentations and pricing models

·     Fluent in written and spoken English

·     Fluency in written and spoken Spanish is a plus (not required)

·     Holds a valid passport to ensure ability to travel internationally
