As a Construction Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing steel-related construction projects from inception to completion. Your expertise in project management, steel fabrication, and construction processes will be crucial in ensuring successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project plans and timelines.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Coordinate steel fabrication, erection, and installation activities.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Provide leadership to project teams, motivating them to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on steel-related projects.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Suite, Excel, Word, Projects, Bluebeam).
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, and erection techniques.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Be able to build trust internal and external project team members.
