Sure Steel, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in temporary bracing, rigging, crane plane, shoring, and have a firm knowledge of structures, anchor rod design, concrete design, fall protection, and erection aids.

Responsibilities:

• Develop temporary bracing designs to ensure the stability and safety of structures during construction.
• Prepare rigging plans and crane plans for efficient and safe material handling.
• Design shoring systems to support excavation and construction activities.
• Utilize expertise in anchor rod design and concrete design to ensure structural integrity.
• Implement fall protection measures in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Create erection aids to facilitate the assembly of structural components.
• Collaborate with project teams to provide technical support and guidance on temporary structure-related issues.
• Review and approve construction drawings and documents.
• Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and address any temporary structure-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably with a focus on structures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Risa, Ram, Tekla Structures, and SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with Revit, Risa, and BlueBeam is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
