Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

The Company

Our client is a global drinks importer and international distributor. Founded in 2007 and owner of 13 international brands, and it is best known for importing and distributing whiskey and tequila labels. The client is currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join the finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes.

The Role:

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local and international regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address payment inquiries and provide necessary documentation.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

The Person:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
