Privately held, $160M Information Security company is adding a remote, Channel Account Manager to a multi-state territory in the South West.  With cutting edge product development they made Gartner\' Visionary List. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills combined with a sense of urgency to drive growth for the assigned territory.

Position Overview

  • 60/40 in terms of hunting/recruiting new partners v.s. managing existing partner relationships.
  • Help build out processes for a channel sales team
  • Grow new accounts while managing a geographical territory.
  • Be able to Develop and maintain a channel sales strategy and business plan for partner accounts.
  • Accurately tracking accounts in Salesforce.
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Travel as needed, throughout a 5 state territory in the South West (SoCal, NV, AZ, UT, HI)- anticipated about 50%-60% travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably technical.
  • Must have, 4+ plus years of field sales experience, with a mix of hunting and account mgt.
  • Must have, prior experience in technology sales, preferably cloud software, networking infrastructure, or security.
  • Must have experience selling to or for a VAR.
  • Must live in territory (SoCal, NV, AZ,) - preferably in CA, and be willing to travel.
  • Record of consistently exceeding sales plans.
