Position Overview 

Sales Engineers provide high level pre sales support and guidance to customers and collaborate with Sales Directors to recommend and develop appropriate customer solution offerings.

Summary of Responsibilities

This is a customer-focused technical sales professional who acts in a consultative fashion and is looked to as an expert in his/her field by the account team and customers. Provide pre-sales assistance for sales opportunities to customers and partners.  Including installations, troubleshooting and training of products. 

Activities include:

  • Customer and prospects meetings, presentations, gathering requirements and competitive positioning.
  • Technical account management conducting effective hands-on product demonstrations and technical discussions with prospects, customers and channel partners.
  • Lead and manage pilot and proof-of-concept execution.


Qualifications

Must have 3+ years proven history presenting to C-level execs in enterprise environments. Candidates must possess a passion for learning and ongoing skill development. 


Overall knowledge in security systems including:

  • Networking (CCNP)
  • Firewalls
  • Routers
  • IDS/IPS
  • SIEM
  • CISSP and other security certifications are helpful, not required.
