WHAT’S THE JOB?

Calling all Client Accountants! This growing Professional Services Firm is looking for a detail driven, analytical and personable individual to come on board.

As a Senior Client Accounting Advisor you will join their direct tax team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Handle VAT returns and management accounts, coordinating with auditors as needed.
• Oversee a diverse client portfolio across various industries, actively maintaining and strengthening client relationships to ensure high standards of quality, efficiency, and satisfaction.
• Monitor team performance and participate in setting targets.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities.
• Assist with client onboarding processes.
• Serve as the main contact for team members, reviewing their work and fostering communication and motivation in alignment with the company’s vision and values.
• Create ad-hoc financial reports through analysis of accounting data.
• Lead projects or tasks assigned by the Client Accounting Manager.
• Manage personal workflows, workloads, and deadlines effectively.
• Continuously reassess and suggest improvements to systems and processes as necessary.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

• Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese, with knowledge of a third language considered a plus.
• Building relationships with clients and having a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Working against deadlines and delivering in a timely manner.
• Working on your own initiative and in a team, with a proactive approach.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a CSP environment following achievement of qualifications.
• ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Excellent command of accounting standards, and Maltese tax and VAT legislation.
