WHAT’S THE JOB?

Calling all Tax Managers! This growing Professional Services Firm is looking for a detail driven, analytical and personable individual to come on board.

As a Senior Client Accounting Advisor you will join their direct tax team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Advising on tax implications in corporate restructuring, financing, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border investments, and other transactions.
• Developing and implementing tax-planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities.
• Providing ad-hoc tax advisory services to both international and local clients.
• Managing tax compliance tasks, including preparing corporate tax returns and tax refund applications.
• Supporting tax audits and coordinating with tax authorities.
• Conducting technical training sessions and offering technical support to accounting and audit teams.
• Staying updated on local and international direct tax developments.
• Seeking opportunities for the growth of the unit.
• Evaluating and recommending improvements to systems and processes as necessary.
• Serving as the primary contact for junior team members and reviewing their work when needed.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

• Demonstrating initiative and teamwork with a proactive attitude.
• Excelling in both verbal and written communication in English and Maltese.
• Possessing knowledge of a third language, which is advantageous.
• Consistently meeting deadlines and delivering promptly.
• Cultivating strong client relationships with a dedication to exceptional service.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a CSP environment following achievement of qualifications.
• ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Excellent command of accounting standards, and Maltese tax legislation.
