WHAT'S THE JOB?

Join a forward thinking and energetic team in Malta as an FP&A Business Partner, where you'll be essential in helping the business leaders achieve their financial ambitions. Work hand in hand with the Head of Group Finance and Head of BI to deliver precise financial data, insights, and influential decision making analysis. This position will be crucial in connecting Finance and BI departments, generating key insights, and enhancing executive level decision making. Your role will also involve developing automated processes, supporting integration projects, and nurturing a strong business partner culture.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Business Partnership: Work closely with business leaders to enhance value and performance across all departments.
• Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
• Performance Measurement: Collect and analyse departmental KPI data for thorough performance evaluation.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports and forecasts.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, providing actionable insights.
• Financial Analysis: Perform monthly variance analysis during financial close, offering valuable insights to drive continuous improvement.
• Data Analysis: Utilize Tableau, Power BI, and other BI tools to identify patterns and deliver insights.
• Presentation & Communication: Develop and collaborate on presentation materials for weekly and monthly reviews, translating BI data into business terms.
• Process Improvement: Initiate automation and integration projects to improve financial processes.
• Operational Support: Provide assistance in banking and treasury functions.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Contribute financial and BI expertise to various projects as needed.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

• A degree in Economics, Accounting, Mathematical Statistics, Analysis, or a related field
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role. 
• Proficiency in written and spoken English. 
• Excellent command of MS Excel and Google Sheets

·       Experience with online data extraction tools, e.g. G-Accon

·       Experience with data visualization and BI tools, e.g. Tableau, Lookers Studio, SQL
