WHAT'S THE JOB? 

The System Administrator is the technical contact person and is responsible for administration of different Windows and Cloud based (SAAS) applications, their implementation and availability.

Main focus is continuous improvement of the applications through further development of tests and workflows.

Selected candidate will be expected to stay abreast of emerging technology and industry best practices and contribute into various projects and initiatives. 

WHAT WILL YOU DO? 

• Application integration, support for application patches and application lifecycle

• Administration, maintenance and monitoring of the windows based IT infrastructure with high available systems

• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, licensing agreements, configuration guidelines, and best-practices

• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis

• Customer support at first, second and third level as well as coordination with other teams and vendors

• Analysis and evaluation of customer requirements as well as independent solution finding

• Creation and maintenance of various technical documentations

• Participate in Cab and Maintenance Weekend calls Creating scripts/automation to provide better service, fix daily issues, and address repetitive tasks, assisting the Level 1 team.

• Acting as the main contact and providing support for the Level 1 team related to the applications, including answering tickets if they can't provide solutions.

• Conducting service reviews and participating in monthly calls to answer questions from customers.

• Developing automation solutions.

WHAT CAN YOU DO? 

• Understanding of IT infrastructure layout and its components

correlation such as Hardware, Network, Virtualization Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Backup

• Knowledge and understanding of IT processes and IT service-related needs

• Strong communication skills, team spirit and eager to learn new technologies

• Experience with managing Applications(Installing, Upgrading, Monitoring, Automating)

• Experience cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP) is an advantage

• Knowledge of common scripting languages and experience in their application

• Minimum 5 years of experience

• Experience and knowledge of middleware like Tomcat & Apache

• Good German and English skills - written and spoken

• Understanding & experience with configuration tools like Ansible

• In depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft IIS
