Job Title: IT Manager

Location: Burlington, ON

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $70,000-$80,000

About the role: We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee our company's technology operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our team, ensuring the security and integrity of our infrastructure, and implementing policies and procedures for smooth system operation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·      Manage and oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including supervising staff and consultants, to ensure smooth functioning.

·      Develop, implement, and monitor IT policies and procedures to ensure our IT infrastructure's security, integrity, and efficiency.

·      Planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated IT and electronic data operations to meet organizational objectives.

·      Manage IT projects and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

·      Provide technical support to staff and troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.

·      Stay up-to-date with technological advances, assess their impact on the organization, and make recommendations for adopting new technologies.

·      Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand their IT needs and requirements.

·      Communicate IT policies, initiatives, and updates effectively to ensure alignment and support across the organization.

 

Requirements:

 

·      Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

·      5+ years of experience in IT management.

·      Strong leadership and communication skills.

·      Excellent problem-solving skills.

·      Experience with IT project management and budgeting.

·      Knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.

·      Ability to manage and motivate a team.
