The owner of this villa is looking to hire their first Event Sales and Marketing manager who will manage and execute events that will take place on the estate.


THE JOB:

As the Event Sales and Marketing Manager, you will collaborate closely with the owner to develop and execute a comprehensive plan for events hosted at the villa. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing incoming inquiries and conducting tours for potential clients.
  • Organizing and overseeing events such as day retreats, photo shoots, yoga retreats, health and wellness workshops, farm-to-table events, weddings, and corporate gatherings.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local vendors (florists, caterers, DJs, photographers, chefs, high-end food carts, rental services, etc.)
  • Engaging in local marketing efforts, networking with community groups and hotels
  • Growing the estate's digital presence through social media and paid online advertising
  • Ensuring event satisfaction, especially when addressing couples with high-budget weddings
  • Overseeing event logistics, including coordination with external service providers and managing the event space


THE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional event management experience required
  • Preferred industry experience with weddings, farm-to-table dinners, wellness events, yoga classes, corporate retreats, or similar events
  • Ability to manage and build rapport with clients and vendors
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities
  • A keen eye for detail and success
