THE COMPANY:

Our client is an established industrial supply company focusing on providing high-quality industrial products and exceptional service to clients in the pulp/paper, grain, cement, recycling, heavy machinery OEMs, renewable energy, and energy transmission industries. As a small, family-owned business, they are poised for growth and are looking to hire a long-term sales professional to take over for the Owner/Sales Person who is looking to move into semi-retirement.

Role Overview:


The North America Territory Manager position is a pivotal role within their organization, reporting directly to the founder and sales leader.


THE JOB:

  • Shadow the owner to understand the sales approach and gradually take over the North American territory.
  • Manage accounts, close inbound leads, and generate new business through outbound prospecting efforts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries from clients, coordinating with internal teams to provide accurate information and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Provide exemplary customer service by addressing client needs promptly and effectively.



THE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial component sales
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Technical knowledge of power transmission machinery preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with industrial gearbox applications and related brands is a plus
  • Willingness to engage in warehouse activities such as lifting boxes and operating a forklift
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
