COMPANY:

Our client is an established manufacturer of transportation safety solutions. They boast 50 years of experience in pavement engineering and analysis, software development, automated data collection equipment manufacturing, and ROW mapping. They are seeking a talented and motivated Client Services Manager to join their remote sales team in the Pacific Northwest.


JOB:

In this role, your main responsibility will be selling transportation safety solutions into municipal / county / city government agencies. You will have a robust book of existing clients to sell into, and will also be tasked with selling new business to prospective clients. The right person for this role will live in Washington, Oregon, or Idaho and have a technical sales aptitude.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7-10+ years’ experience selling technology, information services, or business services solutions to Government Sales or Engineering Firms market
  • Experience navigating complex deals and relationships with impact on county or municipal implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed a sales quota, along with a consistent track record of developing new business and managing sales cycle from generating leads through closing
  • Execute outbound campaigns, including cold calling, based on leads generated by research, trade shows, marketing campaigns, and referrals. Conduct effective in-person and virtual customer meetings
  • Must possess strong presentation skills, professional written communication skills, be organized, analytical and can eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. 
  • Experience selling to Finance and/or Facilities within the SLED market is ideal. 
  • Knowledge of the construction project lifecycle is preferred.
