Our client specializes in brokering transportation services for refrigerated goods, facilitating the movement of produce from the west coast's growing regions to markets across the country. Our client is very well known and respected in the logistics space and is expanding their Scottsdale team.
As an Account Manager within the brokerage environment, your role will be pivotal as you act as the bridge between current customers and freight carriers. You'll be responsible for managing customer accounts, facilitating communication and activities between customers and our logistics brokerage. Moreover, you'll coordinate shipment movements and cultivate strong relationships with both carriers and customers.
THE JOB:
The responsibilities of the Freight Account Manager include managing client relationships by understanding their logistics needs, optimizing freight operations for efficiency and cost savings, negotiating contracts with carriers, resolving logistics challenges, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with various departments for effective execution of logistics strategies.
You'll be instrumental in cultivating and nurturing robust client relationships. The ideal candidate boasts a solid background in freight management, outstanding communication abilities, and a strategic approach aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and fostering business expansion. This is primarily an IN-OFFICE role Monday to Friday.
