About the Company


Join a dynamic early-age startup that provides nursing and medical students unique travel abroad learning experiences in their field of study. These programs allow medical and nursing students the opportunity to travel to Africa and learn from Medical Doctors and Registered Nurses who are providing the locals with access to much needed healthcare. With their brand-new educational training facility and lodge, these students will be immersed in the research and training while gaining real hands-on experience.


About the Role


As the Business Development Sales Manager, you will be spearheading ground-level development and expansion of their sales operations. With your proactive and creative approach, you will drive quick sales for the upcoming summer programs targeting medical, nursing, and pre-med students. You will be tasked with coming up with innovative outreach strategies to increase awareness and reach the target audience, emphasizing the unique value of the programs. As the primary driver of sales, you'll play a pivotal role in our success, with opportunities to continue expanding outreach in the following years. This highly autonomous role is crucial for launching the company into further success and growth, with the company leaning on your expertise to drive quick results.


Requirements


  • Natural salesperson with a passion for closing deals and exceeding sales targets, fueled by the thrill of success.
  • Proven experience and confidence in managing the entire sales process independently, from prospecting and outreach to securing payments.
  • Highly ambitious individual driven to achieve personal and organizational sales goals.
  • Confidence and independence in work approach, capable of making decisions and taking initiative autonomously.
  • Enthusiastic about joining a fast-paced small business environment and eager to build and develop the sales function from the ground up.
  • Ability to work remotely in the US for a UK-based company


Compensation and Benefits


  • $50,000 salary
  • $110k-$120k+ on-target-earnings for year 1
  • $170k+ total earnings in year 2 and beyond
  • FULLY REMOTE in the United States
  • Macbook Air provided and additional necessary work-from-home hardware
