Job Title: Business Development Manager (Interior Lighting Projects)

Location: United Arab Emirates

Salary: AED 20 - 25,000 per month

Job Description:


We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in generating new business opportunities and cultivating relationships within the interior design and construction industry, specifically focusing on lighting projects. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our company by identifying and pursuing new business prospects, fostering strategic partnerships, and promoting our lighting solutions to key stakeholders.


Responsibilities:


Market Research and Strategy:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape within the interior lighting industry.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand our market presence and achieve growth targets.
  • Analyze customer needs and preferences to tailor lighting solutions and services to meet market demands.

New Business Acquisition:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building.
  • Generate leads and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective campaigns and promotional materials to attract new clients.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and developers to position our company as the preferred lighting solutions provider.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and offering expert advice on lighting design options.
  • Conduct client presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our portfolio and capabilities.

Proposal Development and Negotiation:

  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to potential clients, highlighting the unique value proposition of our lighting solutions.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing agreements with clients to secure profitable contracts while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure seamless handover of new projects and client requirements.

Attend Industry Events and Networking:

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to increase brand visibility and establish industry partnerships.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, staying updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Seek opportunities for collaboration and joint ventures with other businesses to expand our reach and offerings.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven track record of in business development or sales within the interior design, lighting, or construction industry.
  • Deep understanding of interior lighting products, technologies, and applications.
  • Strong network of contacts within the UAE's interior design and construction industry is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to business development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
  • UAE driving license and willingness to travel within the UAE for client meetings and events.
