THE GIST:
Our client, full-service events firm, is looking for a top-notch Events Manager to assist the firm with planning world-class experiences for companies across the globe. The ideal candidate has experience working for an event services agency and at least 3 years in event management. Position is hybrid in San Francisco + travel for events.

THE NITTY GRITTY:
- Facilitate client meetings and provide stellar customer service throughout the planning process
- Create and manage timelines for events working closely with project team and client
- Manage event budgets (often $1M+)
- Plan multi-day destination events - incentive trips, internal meetings, and user conferences
- Source locations, select hotels, and partner with onsite staff
- Work with outside vendors, negotiate contracts, and provide day-of direction
- Travel for events & site visits - 20% of the time
- Manage multiple projects and events simultaneously
THE ESSENTIALS:
- 3+ years of experience in events management
- Must have experience working for an events services agency
- Ability to travel - 20%
- Experience planning multi-day destination hotel events, including incentive trips, meetings, and conferences
- Experience planning and managing events of a large size (200+)
- Excellent project and time management skills
- Ability to multi task and prioritize
- Impeccable communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and with external parties
- Positive and service-oriented approach to their work

LOCATION: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)
COMPENSATION: Base salary: $110,000/yr - $140,000/yr + benefits + perks (exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and expertise)
