Working Hours: Monday to Saturday 10am – 6pm | Sundays and Bank Holidays - 12pm to 6pm

Every second weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)

Reporting to: General Manager

Our Client: Our client is one of Ireland’s most recognisable luxury kitchen brands. With a discerning customer profile, and a state-of-the-art showroom, they are now looking for an Assistant Manager who will be able to coach a small sales team, and create a showroom experience for customers that gives them an unrivalled customer care and striking designs, whilst always having the drive to exceed sales targets. They are committed to supporting new employees to achieve their targets, reach their potential and to ultimately help them to be successful in their role. For the new incumbent in this role, the company will support them with guaranteed commission on top of a basic annual salary for the first year, whilst you build your sales pipeline and establish yourself in the business. Commission is uncapped.

Job Purpose: This role is a mix of consultative sales to home owners, architects, contractors and designers (80% of your time) and retail management (20% of your time) leading a small team of Designers. The position is ideally suited for someone with a Kitchen Design background who is also used to managing a retail team but the company are open-minded about considering candidates with strong retail sales and management skills who have not previously sold kitchens and are willing to learn.

Key Responsibilities

·        Responsible for delivering the overall annual sales target for the store

·        Working alongside the General Manager to establish KPIs for the store

·        You will be able to motivate, lead and inspire other team members to achieve their personal targets

·        Through your own ways of working, set a high standard of professionalism among your team

·        Set the highest standard of customer service in line with the expectations of our customers

·        Be competent in analysing sales data and have an ability to report these to management so that solid business decisions can be made.

·        Have a mindset geared towards continual improvement

·        You will be working towards and achieving your annual target and supporting the store team in the development and growth in achieving their targets.

Key Competencies & Skills 

·        Professional experience in kitchen design is preferable (minimum 2 years as a full-time employee)

·        You must have at least 2 years retail management experience (essential)

·        Delivering superb customer service skills and setting the highest standards for others to follow

• A proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets, both for yourself and leading a sales team

·        Experience using a CAD based design package

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
