The Company:

Our client is a company that specialises in providing a wide range of tools, equipment, and accessories for automotive garages and workshops. They cater for both retail and online customers with distribution across the whole of Ireland.

Job Purpose:

To provide customer service and knowledgeable sales advice on a very busy Trade Counter. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, assisting them in locating desired products, handling telephone inquiries, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organised counter area.

Duties & Responsibilities

·        Serve customers at the counter

·        Answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally

·        Respond to customer queries via email and messenger

·        Prepare customer quotations

·        Pick and pack customer orders

·        Manage goods in/out responsibilities

·        Restock and replenish showroom items

·        Conduct stock takes as requested

·        Collaborate with other staff to resolve issues

·        Update product information in our system

Key Competencies & Skills 

·        Comprehensive knowledge of cars and/or car parts is essential

·        At least 3 years of previous experience in a similar role is essential

·        Ability to handle a large volume and fast pace of work in a very busy team

·        Positive attitude and ability to use own initiative

·        Excellent communication and customer service skills

·        Strong problem-solving abilities

·        Demonstrate good computer literacy
