About Our Next Production Operations Specialist:


audiochuck is looking for a Production Operations Specialist to join our team and help streamline our content and publishing operations and our creative and ad operations. This role will work closely with the Director of Production and the Director of Project Management to ensure smooth and efficient processes.


What this role will bring to the table:


Content & Publishing Operations: (60%)


  • Expertise in Platforms: Serve as the in-house expert on our two main content management and publishing/distribution platforms: Simplecast and the Crime Junkie Fan Club Admin Portal.
  • RSS Feed Support: Assist the Director of Production in RSS feed creation, distribution, and tracking.
  • Quality Assurance: Support daily QA of releases scheduled by the Production team.
  • Issue Escalation: Escalate technical player issues to SXM’s Content & Publishing Operations liaison and any technical Crime Junkie Fan Club CMS issues to the internal dev team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the internal dev team to stabilize and oversee Crime Junkie Fan Club Admin Portal bugs, fixes, and development.
  • Asset Delivery: Support asset deliveries as needed for ASL, blog/website, etc.
  • Process Documentation: Create process documents and take on ad-hoc projects as needed (e.g., driving Box to Google Drive migration/file organization).
  • Ad Hoc Operational Support: Assist the Director of Production and Director of Project Management with scheduling, data requests, and production requests as needed.


Creative/ Ad Operations (40%)


  • Ad Operations Expertise: Serve as the in-house expert on ad ops and act as the main point of contact for SiriusXM’s ad ops team.
  • Ad Process Management: Ensure the weekly ads process runs smoothly, including but not limited to tracking host/show approvals, vetting host assignments and copy points, tracking product shipment, etc.
  • Media Trafficking: Support all media trafficking needs on a weekly basis.
  • Production Requests: Manage production requests (ads, feed drops, audio only, and audio/video promos).


What you’ll bring to the table:


  • Operational/PM Background: Strong operational/project management background with a track record of success, and experience working at the intersection of cross-functional teams such as ad sales, production, and programming.
  • Digital Asset Management (DAM) Experience: You’ve worked with multiple content management and digital asset management systems in the past and can quickly jump into and learn new platforms. 
  • Basic understanding of the creative and advertising landscape, including familiarity with creative related tasks such as copy vetting and finalization.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing or partner-facing role with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Bonus Points for Experience With:
  • Project management platforms such as Wrike.com and Monday.com
  • Enterprise podcast hosting platforms such as Simplecast, AdsWizz, etc.
