Role Overview:

A pivotal leader in the healthcare and dietary supplement industry, the NPD Manager will lead strategic sourcing decisions, and drive New Product Development with a keen eye on market trends and sustainability.

You will work with leading brands in the spanish pharmacies, mostly in the Over The Counter (OTC) category.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Development:

• Lead the development of new and improved formulas, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
• Contribute to the New Product Development committee's processes and decisions.
• Collaborate alognside with the marketing team in order to maintain an innovative portfolio.

Suppliers Quality Control :

• Maintain a comprehensive Quality Control System, ensuring all products meet all the established standards.
• Prepare and execute the annual audit plan, maintaining compliance with supplier agreements.

Raw ingredients Sourcing:

• Serve as the main point of contact for strategic supplier, collaborating closely with supply and other internal teams.
• Direct the company's sourcing strategy, including suppliers (CDMO) selection.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of technical experience in the pharmaceutical or dietary supplement industry.
• Deep knowledge of natural ingredients, eco-design for packaging, and associated chemistry and pharmacology.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with a proactive and creative approach to New Product Development and improvements.
• Strong empathic abilities and capacity to build solid professional relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Excellent teamwork capabilities, able to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Senior experience in the field, with a preference for a background in pharmacy.
