PUBLIC ACCOUNTING FIRM - Leadership Opportunity
Our client, a CPA public accounting firm with a national reach from Toronto to Vancouver, offering top-tier accounting, tax, and consulting services, has an immediate need for a new Manager or Senior Manager, Accounting. They take a personal approach to professional services, and their success is based on providing small to mid-sized organizations with scalable, custom-tailored tax and accounting solutions.
Based on new client intake driving continuous growth, they immediately need a new Manager or Senior Manager for their accounting and assurance team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and technical skills and significant experience leading and managing review engagements.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients
- Plan, lead and supervise teams to ensure all clients’ needs are met and exceeded
- Monitor the progress of engagements and communicate with the team and partners
- Ensure adherence to the firm’s standards and quality control procedures
- Responsible for developing and fostering excellent client relationships
- Participate in staff engagement and career development programs
- Participate in committee work and practice development
Ideal qualifications:
- Designated CPA with extensive experience in a public accounting management role
- Strong technical skills with a creative flair to provide practical solutions
- Sound analytical, leadership, problem-solving skills and professional judgment
- Exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to forge sound working relationships with partners, clients, and related advisors
- High standard of integrity and commitment to exceptional client service and teamwork
- Committed to a lifelong learning approach and constantly improving knowledge in this position
