Position Summary:

The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for the overall nursing operations of the skilled nursing facility. The DON will ensure that the facility provides the highest quality of care to residents and that all regulatory requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the nursing department, including staffing, training, and performance evaluation
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Coordinate admissions and discharges
• Manage the facility's quality assurance program
• Collaborate with the medical director and other healthcare professionals
• Provide leadership and support to the nursing staff

Qualifications:

• Current California RN license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations
