Accountant (Cost) - Launch Your Career to New Heights!

Our client is a leading manufacturer of innovative aerospace components. They are seeking a highly motivated Accountant (Cost) to join our growing finance team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, supporting our mission to propel the future of flight.

What You'll Do:

• Developing and analyzing cost standards
• Setting standard costs of manufactured goods
• Prepare monthly general ledger entries: cash, prepaid, accruals, allocations, intercompany, and lease accounting
• Prepare account reconciliation and roll-forward schedules
• Prepare and file sales & use tax, business property tax
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, verifying accuracy and resolving any discrepancies

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a senior accounting role, ideally within the aerospace manufacturing industry.
• In-depth understanding of GAAP and strong analytical skills.
• Aerospace & defense industry experience a plus
• Costing experience strongly preferred
