Senior Tax Accountant

Pinnacle Careers is helping a well-established CPA firm find a motivated and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns.
• Research and analyze complex tax issues.
• Maintain a strong understanding of current tax laws and regulations.
• Develop tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.
• Manage client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist with tax audits and IRS correspondence.
• May supervise and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA license (or eligibility to take the exam).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on taxation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProTax) a plus.
